Dr. Dvir Abramovich is The Israel Kipen Director of the Program in Jewish Culture and Society at The University of Melbourne, and chairman of The Anti-Defamation Commission. He is considered to be Australia’s leading spokesperson on antisemitism and racism. A much sought-after media commentator, he has been interviewed on radio and TV, and has written numerous opinion pieces for local and international publication. For the last 21 years he has contributed a monthly column for The Australian Jewish News. Dr. Abramovich is the author of six books and was President of the Australian Association of Jewish Studies for three terms.
