How do we add meaning to laws that are prescribed to us? As Jews, we are encouraged to question and search for connection, but it can be hard to find those answers in all sectors of Judaism. With the knowledge and experience we have today, is it ethically appropriate to continue some of our age old practices? Nom will explore these questions through a reflection on her experiences surrounding her son’s Brit Milah.
